Changing with the light
This glass food and water bowl was created in collaboration with glassblower Emi Nojiri.
The theme is "The passage of time."
Morning, noon, night - reflecting the light and shadow of each moment, adding a gentle change to your life.
The curves overlap vertically, the height allows your cat to eat and drink naturally, and the capacity is approximately 350ml.
We made numerous prototypes in pursuit of a form that harmonizes functionality and beauty.
Morning| A vessel filled with a gentle light.
The pale color of light signals the start of the day.
The pale cream opaque glass and blue-green base create a gentle impression reminiscent of the quiet morning air.
Noon | A sparkling bowl filled with sunlight.
Warm colors that seem to capture the sunlight.
The combination of clear orange and pale mint is accented with bubbles scattered like dots, which sparkle in the light.
Night| A vessel that reflects deep serenity.
The deep blue transparent glass and brown base create a quiet contrast, like the veil of night slowly falling.
The bubble dots sparkle like stars, and under the lights it looks like you're looking into the night sky.
A gentle time living with light.
The first thing you notice when you hold it is its soft warmth and clear texture. It has the unique fluctuation of blown glass, but the stability of the base has also been carefully calculated.
Morning light, daytime sparkle, nighttime silence. Just placing this bowl in a room will soften the air at any time. It can be used not only as a container but also as a decorative object. This bowl adds a touch of poetry to your time with cats.
Limited production of only 3 pieces of each color.
Enjoy the unique "changes" that only blown glass can offer, where no two pieces have the same expression.
*This is not heat-resistant glass, so it may crack if exposed to boiling water or sudden temperature changes. Each piece is handmade, so there may be variations in shape. Each piece is made with different colored glass, and the coloring may be reduced or the shade may vary when exposed to high-temperature flames during the production process.
