"kuro neko" is a special blanket that takes black cat art by the painter Ichiro Yamaguchi and weaves it in jacquard. The inspiration was Jiji, the black cat from Hayao Miyazaki's Kiki's Delivery Service — a little mischievous, but impossible to dislike. That very cat-like charm is captured in a monotone silhouette.
The relief of the weave gives the cat depth, and its expression shifts with the light. Beside the bed, over the sofa, in a corner of the floor.
