A bowl carrying a story.
Where a cat and a painting meet.

Fish swimming, birds lined up, flowers scattered - three worlds, drawn in lines that keep the wavering of the brush in them. The motifs were made for this bowl and nothing else, carrying the painter Ichiro Yamaguchi's eye and the gentleness of someone who lives with cats.
Carrying them is the clean porcelain of CHALICE. Its quietly rising form gives the painting its empty space, and brings a composed air to the table. The artwork sits beneath the glaze, so the brushwork stays exactly as it is however often you wash it.
Inside the bowl, a cat peers out. Mealtimes stop being only a routine and become a moment of brushing against art - a bowl that puts a quiet pleasure into the day you spend with your cat.
