Lee Izumida

Lee Izumida was born in Hokkaido in 1986. Drawing was simply part of ordinary life from an early age, and studying in the United States was what turned it into something to pursue properly. Izumida moved to Tokyo in 2015, and began working as a painter full time in 2019. Working mainly in acrylic, Izumida paints signage, promotional artwork, and images and lettering straight onto shop windows - art that quietly keeps company with everyday life.

A special T-shirt from a collaboration between &CAT and the painter Lee Izumida.
On it: a yellow cat walking wherever it pleases, and the words CAT! CAT! CAT! bouncing along beside it. Lee Izumida's original artwork, printed large across the front. Against plain white, the graphic adds a measure of play and lift to whatever you were already wearing.
